The road between Sóller and Lluc was inaugurated more than fifty years ago, in 1961. At that time it was an extraordinary event since at last a road connected the Serra de Tramuntana from end to end. Its route is one of the most attractive and touristic on the island. In most of its sections it is an authentic viewpoint from where the visitor can enjoy some of the most impressive landscapes of the mountains. Along its route there are a couple of especially spectacular sections and some viewpoints where you can stop safely. Keep in mind that it is a narrow road with poor visibility, therefore, extreme precautions must be taken.
