The municipality of Escorca is located in Mallorca (Balearic Islands) in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a Natural Site in 2007 and a World Heritage Site in 2011. Escorca is the least populated, but largest municipality in the Serra.

Its term contains extraordinary beauties, highlighting Cala Tuent, La Calobra, and the immediate mouth of the Pareis torrent.

The municipality has important peaks such as Puig Major, Puig de Massanella, Puig de ses Bassetes among others.

Escorca welcomes the traveler who wants to enjoy the landscape, culture and gastronomy. The particularities of this municipality have meant that the accommodation offer is mainly made up of mountain refuges. In addition, the area has the Sanctuary of Lluc, a pilgrimage site par excellence on the island because the Virgin of Lluc, patron saint of Mallorca, resides there.

Its peaks, torrents and valleys make Escorca the perfect setting for practicing numerous nature sports, including mountain biking, climbing, descending torrents and caving.
