The municipality of Escorca is the one that houses the most publicly owned farms. Public estates are acquired with a double intention, on the one hand to preserve and restore their natural, scenic and cultural values, and on the other, to make them available to everyone. Currently the Conselleria d ‘Agricultura, Medi Ambient ¡Territori manages and administers the public estates of: Binifaldó, Menut, Cúber, Miner Gran, Mortitx, Sa Coma des Prat and Ses Figueroles. Likewise, depending on the Insular Council of Mallorca, the public estates of: Son Amer, Son Massip and Tossals Verds are located in the municipality.
