Museums and interpretation centers

Escorca offers several places where visitors can discover the history, nature and heritage of the Serra de Tramuntana. The Paratge Natural Interpretation center helps visitors understand the environmental and cultural values of this UNESCO World Heritage Site through audiovisual displays and exhibitions. The Museum del Santuari de Lluc houses an outstanding collection of religious art, historical objects and ethnological pieces that illustrate Mallorcan devotion and culture. This is complemented by the Jardí Botànic de Lluc, a space dedicated to Balearic flora, featuring native and endemic species and offering an ideal setting in which to discover the Serra’s biodiversity in peaceful and accessible surroundings. In Menut and Binifaldó, the Forestry and Environmental Education Centre introduces visitors to forest management, mountain ecosystems and the conservation of the natural environment.
