Description
Pla de Cúber is surrounded by the highest mountains in the Serra, at the foot of Puig Major de Son Torrella. The reservoir supplies the city of Palma, and its freshwater expanse makes it an interesting spot for birdwatching. The walk around the reservoir is very easy and suitable for families.
The Cúber area forms part of the Paratge Natural de la Serra de Tramuntana and is one of the most highly regarded places among nature lovers and birdwatchers. Numerous walks also set out from here towards iconic peaks such as Puig Major (restricted access), Puig de Massanella and Coll de l’Ofre.
